Most case studies are written by internal marketing teams and read like project reports. They describe what happened, list the features that were used, and include a positive quote at the end. Sales teams do not use them because they do not answer the questions a prospect is actually asking.
A case study that earns its place in a sales conversation does something different. It identifies the reader the buyer most resembles and speaks to their specific situation. It shows the before state in terms the prospect recognises from their own experience. It presents the solution in terms of the decision the buyer is facing right now.
We produce full narrative case studies (1,000 to 1,800 words) and short-form one-page versions. Both formats are included as standard. For B2B clients with longer sales cycles, we can also write case study scripts for video production and slide decks for sales presentations.
We prepare the interview questions and can conduct the interview directly with your customer if you prefer. Alternatively, you can share a call recording or transcript and we work from that.
We structure the case study to reflect positively on both the client and their customer. All case studies should be reviewed by your customer before publication. We build one approval round with the featured customer into our process.
